How should the necklace live on you?

Lengths vary by piece and body. Use the exact measurement on the product page rather than relying only on labels such as choker, princess, or matinee.

How to measure
- Use a soft tape, or place a string around your neck at the drop you want.
- Mark where the ends meet, then measure the string flat.
- Compare that number with the exact product length and closure notes.
For a pendant or focal bead, also note where its lowest point should sit. If a piece needs adjustment, ask the studio before ordering.

Gemstone Necklaces — Questions
Which necklace length should I choose?
Measure a necklace you already like or use a soft tape to mark the intended drop on your body. Then compare that measurement with the exact product length; the same number can sit differently depending on neck, torso, clothing, and pendant size.
Can I layer hand-knotted gemstone necklaces?
Yes. Separate the lengths enough to reduce tangling and compare the focal size and closure of each piece. Two clearly different drops are usually easier to wear than several necklaces ending at the same point.
How is a 108 mala different from a regular necklace?
A traditional full mala uses 108 counting beads plus a guru bead or finishing element for mantra practice. A gemstone necklace can use any bead count and is designed primarily around fit and composition, although some malas are also wearable as long necklaces.
Can the length be adjusted?
Some hand-knotted pieces can be adjusted before preparation and shipping, but the possible range depends on the existing cord, closure, and composition. Contact the studio before ordering to confirm what can be changed without rebuilding the piece.
