COMMON CURIOSITIES (FAQs)

Welcome to our studio's living document. Here, we address the most common inquiries regarding our craftsmanship, energetic practices, and studio policies.

If your question remains unanswered, you may reach out to the maker directly via our Contact Page.

I. THE TALISMANS & ENERGY

How do I choose the right talisman for me?

Choosing a piece is an exercise in intuition. We recommend quieting your mind and observing which stone or color combination you are repeatedly drawn to—often, your energy field knows what it needs before your logical mind does.

Alternatively, if you are seeking targeted energetic support, you may opt for our Five Elements (Wu Xing) customized service, where we calculate the specific materials needed to balance your personal chart.

Consult The Oracle for intuitive guidance.

How should I cleanse or recharge my piece at home?

While every piece leaves our studio fully cleansed, it will absorb your energy over time.

When your talisman feels "heavy," we recommend resting it on a selenite plate, bathing it in moonlight overnight, or passing it through the smoke of Palo Santo. Trust your intuition on when it needs a reset.

Can I wear my jewelry in the shower or while swimming?

We strongly recommend removing your talisman before exposing it to water, especially pieces containing yak bone, old silver, copper, or dyed cords.

Beyond physical preservation, we view the act of taking off your jewelry before bathing—and putting it back on afterward—as a daily ritual of grounding and intentionality.

II. CRAFTSMANSHIP & MATERIALS

I have sensitive skin. Is the metal hardware hypoallergenic?

We use a mix of materials, including antique silver, brass, and copper. While we avoid modern nickel-plated alloys, authentic antique metals may naturally contain trace elements.

If you have severe metal sensitivities, we recommend wearing the talisman over a sleeve, or choosing our "Pure Cord & Stone" designs.

Is the Yak Bone ethically sourced?

Absolutely.

In Tibetan culture, the Yak is a revered animal that sustains life. Our bone beads are repurposed from animals that have passed naturally.

Using the bone is a way of honoring the animal's spirit and ensuring nothing goes to waste. It is a material of "Memento Mori"—a reminder of the preciousness of life, not a product of harm.

How do I care for the Yak Bone and Wood beads?

These organic materials are porous and alive. They will absorb your skin's natural oils, deepening in color over time (patina).

Avoid soaking them in water or exposing them to harsh detergents, as this can dry out the bone or swell the wood. A drop of olive oil rubbed in once a year keeps them nourished.

Will the color of the stones or cords fade over time?

Like your favorite pair of raw denim or a vintage leather journal, our materials—especially the Alchemy Agate and natural cotton/wax threads—evolve with you.

Prolonged exposure to sun, natural skin oils, and the friction of daily life may soften the colors over the years. We celebrate this evolution and call it the "Patina of Life."

I have a very small/large wrist. Will these fit me?

Most of our talismans feature a sliding knot (adjustable closure), designed to fit wrists between 6.0" to 7.5".

If you have specific sizing needs outside this range, please leave a note at checkout.

Because we make them by hand, we can often adjust the starting knot for you.

III. THE "PASSING THROUGH" COLLECTION

I saw a piece in the "Passing Through" collection last week, but now it’s gone. Can you remake it?

No. The "Passing Through" collection operates on a strict 7-day ritual cycle. If a piece is not claimed by a guardian within 7 days, it is respectfully disassembled.

The materials are cleansed, and the energy is allowed to move on. We cannot recreate these specific moments of inspiration. We encourage you to act when your intuition strikes.

IV. RITUAL PACKAGING & SHIPPING

Can I send a talisman as a gift directly to someone else?

Yes. Because we view our pieces as energetic gifts, we never include printed price tags or financial invoices inside the box.

It arrives perfectly ready for gifting. If you leave a brief custom note at checkout, we will handwrite it on our mint seed paper for the recipient.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

We are "Small by Choice" and do not mass-produce. Please allow 2 to 5 business days for us to physically craft, inspect, and energetically cleanse your piece before it leaves our workbench.

Transit times (typically 7-15 days globally) are in addition to this ritual processing time.

Will I be charged customs duties for international shipping?

For orders shipped internationally, the buyer is responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, or fees levied by the destination country. These are out of our control and are collected by your local government.

My order arrived with a fabric coaster and a textured paper card. What are these?

As part of our commitment to the earth, our packaging is 100% plastic-free.

  • The Coaster: Your jewelry holder is a handmade fabric pad designed to be reused as a tea or coffee coaster.
  • The Collector's Note: The textured paper is infused with mint seeds. Do not throw it away. Plant it under a thin layer of soil, water it, and watch new life sprout.

V. ORDERS, RETURNS & REPAIRS

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Because each piece enters a specific queue for energetic cleansing and final knotting, we can only accept modifications or cancellations within 24 hours of your order being placed. Once the ritual preparation begins, the order is locked.

Do you accept returns or exchanges if I change my mind?

No. To maintain strict energetic hygiene, all sales are final. We operate on a "Virgin Energy" policy.

When you unbox an à la luck talisman, you have the absolute certainty that it has never been worn, handled, or energetically imprinted by another customer.

We do not accept returns for style preferences or a change of mind.

What happens if my piece arrives damaged or breaks?

We stand by our knots. While we are uncompromising on energetic purity, we are deeply committed to artisan quality.

If your piece arrives with a structural defect, or if a knot slips prematurely, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with a photograph. We will honor the "Artisan Promise" and arrange for a repair, replacement, or solution.
