Spark the dormant flame. The Spark #29 is a 108-bead Buddhist mala on Himalayan estate camel bone foundation — for practitioners ready to manifest, claim, and act on accumulated practice.
A 16mm bamboo coral top and 25mm red agate guru anchor 108 bone prayer beads, punctuated by ten cultural markers including raw sapphire, lapis lazuli, untreated natural turquoise, Hetian green jade, yellow amber, and a Tibetan Zashi Lhamo (auspicious goddess) brass charm — the practitioner's manifestation circuit.
01 · Fit Who is The Spark #29 made for?
Built for practitioners in claim/manifest seasons — those who have done the inner work and are now moving accumulated practice into outward action.
I knot these for the moment your sustained sitting becomes ready to leave the cushion and enter the world. If you are launching a project, starting a teaching practice, or claiming a public voice after years of private cultivation, this mala carries the cultural lineage that sanctifies action.
02 · Activation How do I use The 29 in japa meditation?
Pre-cleansed in my studio — but it invites a personal attunement before first wear. I recommend placing it under one full moon cycle, then holding the guru bead and breathing three slow exhales — that's how it learns your frequency.
For japa meditation: hold the mala in your right hand, count one bead per mantra or breath cycle with your thumb, traveling 108 beads without crossing the guru. Reverse direction when complete. Worn as a necklace between practice sessions to keep the energetic circuit active.
03 · Energy What does bamboo coral do energetically?
Bamboo coral (organic shell-family lineage, similar to Pearl and Mother of Pearl in Wu Xing classification) is linked to the sacral chakra — water-element vital flow, manifestation through embodied creativity.
Paired with a red agate guru (fire-element root-anchored vitality), 108 Himalayan estate camel bone prayer beads (durable foundation), raw sapphire waist (crown gate), and ten heritage markers — untreated natural turquoise (throat protection), lapis lazuli (throat-third-eye truth), Hetian green jade (wood-element heart growth), yellow amber (sacral warmth), old-mine garnet (vital force), and a Tibetan Zashi Lhamo (auspicious goddess) brass charm — this is a Water-Fire dual mala. The sacral focal channels vital spark while the Fire guru anchors it in root-stable manifestation.
04 · Sourcing Are the materials authentic? How do you guarantee quality?
Every material is honest-labeled — natural bamboo coral (organic shell-family material, NOT dyed substitute or plastic resin imitation), natural red agate (banded chalcedony, untreated), Himalayan estate camel bone (traditionally sourced, ethically harvested), real raw sapphire (untreated corundum), authentic untreated natural turquoise (NOT magnesite-as-turquoise substitution, NOT stabilized/dyed), genuine lapis lazuli, real yellow amber, authentic Hetian green jade (Xinjiang nephrite NOT serpentine substitute), natural old-mine garnet (vintage-mined), authentic Tibetan brass (lost-wax tradition, NOT industrial alloy), real Tibetan Zashi Lhamo (auspicious goddess) brass charm — Nepali artisan source.
Never dyed glass, never reconstituted substitute. If a material cannot meet our quality standard, I do not use it. I would rather tell you what a material actually is than market it under a prettier name.
05 · Legal Is there a California Proposition 65 notice for this piece?
WARNING: Yes — this piece contains Tibetan brass beads and Tibetan Zashi Lhamo brass charm, which may carry trace amounts of lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
The lead is bound within the metal alloy matrix and is not surface-bioavailable under normal wear. California Proposition 65 requires this notice for any product that may expose consumers to listed chemicals, even at levels well below federal safety limits. Pregnant or nursing wearers, or anyone with known sensitivities, may prefer a metal-free piece from the collection. Full notice and material context →
