Never dyed obsidian or coated glass. I source the black tourmaline from small-scale Peruvian dealers who collect from verified mines in the Andes. The Himalayan quartz comes from independent collectors in Nepal who hand-pick from natural deposits. Cord is cotton with waxed thread binding for durability. If a material cannot meet our provenance standard, I do not use it. I would rather tell you what a stone actually is than market it under a prettier name.
