A traveling smudge in the side pocket.
The Sanctuary #02 is a hand-knotted bag and altar talisman built around a 110mm raw Palo Santo timber wand, raw Himalayan clear quartz, heritage African trade bead, and traditional yak bone — a portable purification tool for people whose work pulls them through dense rooms and crowded transit. Engineered to clip onto a tote, backpack, keyring, or hang from an altar: the Palo Santo radiates passive energetic clearing without ever being burned, and the raw quartz amplifies your intention in any space you carry it through.
01 · Fit Who is The Sanctuary #02 made for?
Built for the wearer who moves through dense human spaces — public commuters, healers between sessions, hospitality workers, anyone who absorbs ambient field residue and wants a portable clearing tool that does not require burning anything.
I knot these for the wearer who can't burn smudge in their daily environment — apartment buildings, offices, public transit, clinical settings — but still wants the cleansing function of Palo Santo close at hand. The raw timber radiates its sweet resinous frequency passively, no flame required. The clip secures to a tote handle, backpack strap, or keyring; some wearers hang it on the bedpost or altar at night for the same effect in private space.
02 · Activation How do I place and activate The Sanctuary #02?
Clip to a bag handle, keyring, or altar hook. Hold the Palo Santo timber and quartz to your sternum for one breath cycle to set the daily intention — that is the first attunement.
The first time you carry it, hold the Palo Santo timber and the raw quartz point against your sternum and take one full breath cycle, naming what you want this talisman to hold for you (clarity, protection, calm). Then clip it to your daily-carry — tote, backpack, keyring — or hang it from the altar, bedpost, or rear-view mirror. Refresh under moonlight monthly; the Palo Santo wood does not need replacement.
03 · Energy What does Palo Santo plus quartz plus trade bead do energetically?
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is the South American "holy wood" used for cleansing for centuries.
Clear quartz amplifies the intention. African trade beads and yak bone anchor lineage and earth memory. Palo Santo is the resinous heartwood of Bursera graveolens, traditionally used by Andean and Amazonian healers for centuries as a cleansing material — even unburned, the wood radiates its characteristic sweet-citrus resin frequency. Raw clear quartz (silicon dioxide, Mohs 7) is the classic amplifier in crystal tradition; whatever intention you set is broadcast outward through the lattice. African trade beads from heritage lots and yak bone from Tibetan ritual sources add the lineage and earth-memory anchor.
04 · Sourcing Is the Palo Santo ethically sourced? Are the trade beads heritage?
The Palo Santo is sustainably harvested from naturally fallen Bursera graveolens trees in Peru — never live-cut.
The trade beads are heritage African glass from estate-bead dealers, never modern reproduction. I source the Palo Santo timber exclusively from sustainable Peruvian suppliers who harvest from naturally fallen trees — Bursera graveolens is a protected species and live-cut wood is both illegal and energetically inert. The African trade beads come through verified estate-bead dealers specializing in heritage Venetian-African trade glass; modern reproductions flood the market and none of mine is. The Himalayan quartz is naturally weathered, and the yak bone comes from Tibetan ritual sources.
Crystal traditions come from centuries of human practice and are honored here as part of meaningful ritual — not as medical claims. Each piece is offered as a hand-knotted decorative talisman, not as a medical device or a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. à la luck pieces are sold for adult collectors and are not intended to treat, diagnose, cure, or prevent any condition.
Every piece is made once, then leaves.
No restocks, no commissions, no repeats.
