Mineralogically it is a calcium magnesium silicate with an unusually dense fibrous structure, which is why traditions describe it as a stone of slow, deep repair rather than rapid shift. Paired with white jade and oxidized brass, the combination supports continuous heart-chakra and somatic recovery.
04 · Sourcing Is the Hetian jade real? How do you source it?

Every stone is honest-labeled — natural Hetian nephrite jade from Xinjiang, China. Never dyed serpentine, never B-grade jadeite passed off as Hetian.
I source the Hetian jade through verified Chinese dealers who specialize in Xinjiang nephrite — much of what is sold as "jade" online is actually serpentine, dyed quartzite, or chemically treated B-grade jadeite. None of mine is. The Nepali banana silk is hand-spun in Kathmandu, and the hemp core is undyed natural fiber. If a material cannot meet our provenance standard, I do not use it.
