Never irradiated for color enhancement, never glass. I source the smoky quartz from independent collectors in the Himalayan foothills who hand-pick from natural deposits. Much of the smoky quartz on the market is artificially irradiated to deepen color — none of mine is. The accent jadeite and white jade come from verified small-scale dealers, hardware is antiqued 925 silver-plated copper. If a material cannot meet our provenance standard, I do not use it.
